I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
